On Tuesday 26th August, Grade 3 students showcased their reflective learning and shared with parents how the 1:1 iPad program has enhanced their learning opportunities this year. The Grade 3 students created, organised and presented stalls in small collaborative groups for the apps they have used. Grade 2 parents were also invited to attend to see first hand how the iPads have impacted positively on learning.
The opportunity for our Grade 3 students to reflect on their learning was evident in their ideas, understanding and meaning making throughout the Grade 3 iPad Expo. But more importantly the opportunity to build organisational skills, confidence, public speaking skills, accountability and commitment to a bigger purpose than just an individual project was clearly evident.
