New Sandpit and Grassy Hills

During the last holidays we had MDG Contracting in to do some earthworks. The new sandpit has had a busy couple of weeks with lots of use by children at lunchtimes. The beach-sand has a great feel and holds its shape well for making tunnels. In classrooms all around the school we have seen little piles of sand that has fallen out of shoes, which shows that it is being well used.

This week we took down the safety barrier around the grass hills next to the ship playground. A couple of children asked "what do we do on them?" but most have figured out that they are great for rolling down or simply running around on.

HAVE FUN KIDS!
