Last Friday, Archbishop Julian Porteous attended our Assembly, during which he was presented with our school’s response to the Archbishop’s Charter for Catholic Schools. The Archbishop spoke about our responsibility to show the face of Jesus to those we meet through our words and actions. He presented Mr Scharvi with a certificate mandating Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School. This mandate recognises our commitment to actively live out the Gospel values, not only within our school but also as an example in the wider community. A special thank you to our School Captains Jonty Ikin and Oliver Bailey for leading the Prayer Ritual, and also to Samantha Sefton, Annie McCormack and Claire Ellis, who sang the Psalm so beautifully as part of the Prayer.
